My name is David.
I have a passion for woodworking, creativity, art, music and tea.
Lots of tea.
I studied art & design before moving into the world of work.
In 2014 - after almost a decade working in the advertising industry - I decided to give up the life of an office worker and begin a Level 2 NVQ in Site Carpentry, studying in my free time and learning practical skills on sites in and around London.
Eventually, with family commitments demanding more and more of my time, I decided to find happiness by focusing on 2 things;
1) Spending more time with my family, and...
2) Combining my new found carpentry skills and creativity to craft handmade creations that people can enjoy.
Over time, this has evolved from being 'just a hobby' to becoming a passion that has seen me develop my skills and enabled me to create one-off commissions and small items hand made in bulk.
